One of the best-known arrangers of the post-World War II era, Marty Paich had much stronger jazz credentials than many of his peers, thanks to his active presence on the West Coast scene during the '50s. Read Full Biography. Overview ↓ Biography ↓ Discography ↓ Songs ↓.

Martin Louis Paich (January 23, – August 12, ) was an American pianist, composer, arranger, record producer, music director, and conductor. He came to prominence on the West Coast Jazz scene of the s as both a pianist and a composer. Paich gradually stepped away from performing as a musician to work as a producer, composer and arranger.

Marty Paich was a terrific arranger/orchestrator and this is such an example of his great work - fun Broadway tunes in the Paich manner. Warners had some of the best stereo sound of that era and this is superb sound and a fine remastering from Warner Japan. Highly recommended by the likes of me.5/5(1).
